Seasonal, Summer Staff and Volunteer Opportunities

Join our volunteer staff
Skills, interests and experience in specific areas of need is helpful, as well as good physical health and stamina to carry out tasks. Most volunteers serve at least four weeks; many serve three or more months. Modest housing is provided as well as an outstanding work environment and community with over 75 other engaging volunteers who love to plan fun outings and activities! (brochure/application)


Green Lake Conference Center is a great place to work! Recreational facilities include a 36-hole golf course, boating, lake swimming, tennis and an indoor recreation center. Occasionally staff may attend open conference sessions in their free time.

Here are some examples of seasonal positions that are typically available. Our needs change depending on the time of year and number of staff available.

  • Housekeeping Positions
  • Guest Services Clerk
  • Garden Helper
  • Program Technician (room set up and audio/visual equipment monitoring)
  • Food Service (Dining Room and Kitchen)
  • Waterfront
  • Children’s Center (specific education credits may be required)
  • Golf Courses of Lawsonia (Terrace Restaurant, Pro Shop, Groundskeeping)

Application Process:
When we receive your application it will be routed to the proper departments. Due to the large number of applications we receive, the department manager will only contact you if they are interested in setting up an interview. Our seasonal hiring begins in March.

If you are under 18 years old:
You must have a work permit to work for us. After you have been initially hired, we will give you the work permit form and instructions. You will not be allowed to work until the permit has been administered.
